Open Office as alternative to Microsoft Office

Open Office is best free alternative to Microsoft Office. It is absolutely free of charge, open source software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, database and more.
Many language releases are available and should work almost on any PC. This great and free software can be downloaded at openoffice website.Even if you have Microsoft Office installed I I recommend to check Open Office since you might needed it somewhere where you don't want to use your licensed MS Office.

In my case I have an old PC that I mostly use for Internet surfing, I have installed Open Office so in case I download some spreadsheets, presentations, text I can view those documents without problems.
