How to backup Windows current system settings ?

You should make a backup of your current system in order to keep everything in case of system failure.
That way you will have Windows backup ready to do system restore for any reason you might have.
Good reason to keep everything backed up is that if you just re-installed Windows and bunch of drivers are missing than you will just have to locate that backup using system restore option.

What are the benefits from this ?
Instead of having to copy everything again after fresh installation of windows, locate and install device drivers, as well as programs that you use on daily basis you can just Restore with one click and your Windows will load with everything you had on day you made that backup.

You can choose what to backup or let the Windows Choose (recommended)

To create backup for your Windows 7 current system settings go to Control Panel and choose Backup and Restore from System and Security window. Click Set up Backup and follow the process.
To restore that backup follow same process but instead Set up Backup click on  "Select another backup to restore files from" and locate your backup.

Note: It is recommended that you use external Hard Drive or any other external media for this purpose.
